As we continue to grow, we're looking for people who are excited to build, innovate, and help redefine women's mental healthcare at scale.</p><p>We are hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to help expand access to this level of specialized, whole-person care as we continue to grow.</p><p>What are we looking for? </p><p>The ideal candidate is dedicated, self-starting, and eager to learn. Through our expert-led training, they will have the opportunity to develop specialization in women’s mental health across hormonally influenced life transitions, including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, PMDD, and perimenopause/menopause, with a focus on supporting patients through the complex intersection of biology, identity, and lived experience.</p><p>The successful candidate is someone who: </p><ul><li>Has a genuine passion for supporting women across the lifespan, with an appreciation for how hormonal and life transitions shape mental health.</li><li>Is committed to cultivating cultural humility, increasing personal awareness, and enhancing cultural competency to effectively serve a diverse patient population</li><li>Has the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.</li><li>Is adaptable and open to learning and growth. They should be willing to embrace new technologies and approaches to virtual mental health care.</li><li>Actively engages in meetings, and contributes to the innovation and growth of the clinical team.</li><li>Has a commitment to ongoing education and professional development, including staying up-to-date with the latest research and treatment modalities in perinatal mental health.</li><li>Has high ethical standards and maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to all relevant laws and regulations governing psychiatric nursing practice.</li><li>Has strong communication skills, as all work will be conducted remotely; should be able to convey complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner (or willingness to grow in that area).</li><li>Is comfortable with the technology and/or willing to learn new technologies to facilitate patient-centered virtual care</li></ul><p></p><p>What is the role? </p><p>The Psychiatric NP will: </p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing mental status examinations, and formulating diagnoses.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing appropriate medications, therapy, and other interventions.</li><li>Provide evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care to individuals, with a focus on women's health or perinatal health issues.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment.</li><li>Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patients' progress, side effects, or changing clinical needs.</li><li>Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR), in compliance with legal and ethical standards.</li><li>Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in psychiatric nursing and women's health, sharing knowledge with the team as appropriate.</li><li>Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing psychiatric nursing practice.</li></ul> <p></p><ul><li>Valid and active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in CA, NY, NJ or TX.</li><li>Valid and active DEA (with schedules 2-5) in CA, NY, NJ, or TX.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a 100% virtual environment.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient-centered care.</li><li>Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.</li></ul><p></p><p>Ideally, the candidate displays the following characteristics:</p><ul><li>Additional state licensures and DEAs</li><li>Minimum of two years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner</li><li>Experience working in women’s health or perinatal mental health</li><li>A flexible and curiosity-based approach to problem-solving</li><li>Self-starter with a passion for women’s health</li><li>Ability to work independently and problem solve while participating in a team environment</li><li>Excellent time management and prioritization skills </li></ul> <p>We are just as passionate about supporting the personal and professional growth of our employees as we are about providing innovative and effective care to our patients.
