This individual will implement sales strategies, build dealer and contractor relationships, and represent MAX at job sites, events, and trade shows. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to territory development.</p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Sales &amp; Business Development</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Visit jobsites to demonstrate MAX products directly to contractors with distributor involvement.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Seek out new distributor partners as needed within the territory.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Implement MAX sales programs and promotions including RBU program.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Attend and support trade shows, industry events, and distributor open houses.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Cover other territories on an as-needed basis.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Account Management</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Maintain strong relationships with current dealers:</p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Train inside and outside sales staff on MAX products and features.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Merchandise retail locations using signage, point-of-purchase displays, stickers, and posters.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Identify key sales personnel to target for training and promotional efforts.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Conduct jobsite visits alongside customers to reinforce product value.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Ensure timely follow-up to customer requests.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Make bi-weekly calls to each key account.</p></li></ul></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Partner with Office Manager to assist with collections on past due accounts.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Reporting &amp; CRM Usage</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Use CRM tools (<a target="_blank" href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> preferred) daily to:</p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Track interactions with customers and distributors.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Monitor sales pipeline and bonus eligibility.</p></li></ul></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Submit timely reports:</p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Expense reports</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Dealer visit summaries</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Trade show reports</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Confirmation and thank-you letters to customers</p></li></ul></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Product Support &amp; Collaboration</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Coordinate with engineering teams to test products in the field.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Provide feedback from jobsites and distributors to support product development.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Contribute to the design and implementation of promotions and marketing initiatives.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Complete special projects as assigned by management.</p></li></ul><div class="MsoNormal"><hr></div><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Proven experience in outside sales, ideally with a manufacturer or industrial equipment company.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Experience in developing pricing strategies, executing sales promotions, and training customers and staff.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Familiarity with <a target="_blank" href="http://Salesforce.com">Salesforce.com</a> or comparable CRM platforms preferred.</p></li></ul><p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Physical &amp; Travel Requirements</strong></p><ul><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Frequent travel within the assigned territory.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Ability to lift and carry tools and equipment to and from jobsites or trade shows.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Physical ability to set up and dismantle displays at events and open houses.</p></li><li class="MsoNormal"><p>Overnight travel as required.</p></li></ul>
