No visa sponsorship (H-1B, OPT, CPT, TN, etc.)<br><br>Position Overview<br>Objectways is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, machine learning, and business operations. Strong experience with cloud data ecosystems, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale data processing required.<br><br>Responsibilities<br>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.<br>- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.<br>- Develop and maintain data models, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.<br>- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to support reporting and AI initiatives.<br>- Implement data quality, governance, security, and monitoring frameworks.<br>- Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency.<br>- Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple enterprise systems.<br>- Support cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics architectures.<br><br>Required Qualifications<br>- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.<br>- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.<br>- Experience with Python, PySpark, or Scala.<br>- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS.<br>- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools.<br>- Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse, or Databricks.<br>- Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.<br>- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.<br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br>- Databricks, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse architectures.<br>- Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools.<br>- Experience supporting AI/ML and analytics workloads.<br>- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Databricks).<br>- Experience working in large enterprise environments.</div> </div> <p>This is a remote position.</p>
