Candidates may need to be employed through a Professional Employer Organization.</strong></span></p> <h2 style="line-height: 1.5;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">About the Position</span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The Assistant Director of Prospect Management supports the philanthropic goals of the OHSU Foundation by driving prospect management and tracking, prospect identification, and portfolio management and analysis for assigned partners. </span><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>This is a temporary position from August 2026 through January 2027.</strong></span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: 18pt;">What You’ll Be Doing</span></h2> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Prospect Management</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Serve as strategic partner with assigned gift officer to optimize portfolios, strengthen prospect pools, and recommend strategies for outreach that encourage major and transformational gift relationships. Provide guidance related to best practices for portfolio management, serving as a collaborative partner and thought leader to fundraising staff</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Collaborate with development officers, fundraising leadership, and other internal partners to understand portfolio needs; implement innovative solutions to address moves management and fundraising strategies </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Partner with new gift officers to develop and establish new portfolios, and transition portfolios following development staffing changes Develop and implement the tools necessary to keep a robust prospect pool that relates directly to the goals and targets of the assigned unit(s) </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Lead individual and group portfolio review meetings and strategy sessions </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Coordinate clearance system for prospects </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Monitor prospect pool and forecast. Each salary band is broken into three "steps," which correspond with an employee’s experience/tenure, proficiency and performance in that specific role. New employees will typically start at step I of our pay band to allow for later growth, although more experienced candidates may be eligible to start at step II or III.
