<p>Description</p><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>The Project Engineer will oversee planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to schedule. This role includes upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the technical design and engineering of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope and successful project completion.</li><li>Review and select process equipment, vendors, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.</li><li>Leverage engineering expertise to coordinate between field construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring the integrity of the engineering design. </li><li>Lead customer reviews, addressing technical concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals. </li><li>Collaborate with Plant Manager to resolve issues that arise</li><li>Collaborate in teams to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems, applying Lean methodologies and concepts.</li><li>Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.</li><li>Promote safety through proper design of processes and equipment selection</li><li>Follow safety protocols and practices while working in the plant. </li><li>Submit weekly progress reports to senior management.</li><li>Manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency.</li><li>Ensure projects are completed on schedule, meeting customer expectations.</li><li>Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.</li></ul><p><br/></p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to oversee and manage projects from design to completion</li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively within teams</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat </li><li>Ability to work effectively in remote settings</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and/or construction.</li><li>General construction knowledge (preferred).</li><li>Experience in chemical industry (preferred).</li></ul><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>
