<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>An established public accounting firm is looking to add an experienced Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to its team. This is a fully remote position and candidates may work from anywhere in the U.S.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules</p></li><li><p>Record and review adjusting journal entries</p></li><li><p>Prepare individual and business tax returns</p></li><li><p>Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information</p></li><li><p>Support month-end and year-end close processes</p></li><li><p>Communicate directly with clients as needed</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>3+ years of public accounting or tax experience</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</p></li><li><p>CPA or active progress toward CPA license preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and individual/business tax preparation</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p></li></ul><p><strong>What's Offered</strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive salary: $70,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience</p></li><li><p>Fully remote — work from anywhere in the U.S.</p></li><li><p>Standard benefits package</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to grow with a firm investing in long-term team structure</p></li></ul><p><strong>To Apply</strong><br>This is a confidential search; the hiring firm's name and exact location will be shared with candidates who move forward in the process.</p>
