<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>An established CPA firm is looking to add a Tax Supervisor to its team — a senior technical role responsible for reviewing and approving the work of other team members before it reaches the client or final sign-off. This is a fully remote position and you are able to work from anywhere in the US.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Review and approve client financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries prepared by other team members</p></li><li><p>Review and sign off on individual and business client tax returns prior to filing</p></li><li><p>Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in work prepared by staff</p></li><li><p>Serve as the final technical checkpoint across the accounting/tax workflow</p></li><li><p>Provide guidance and technical feedback to staff accountants</p></li><li><p>Communicate directly with clients on complex or sensitive matters</p></li><li><p>Help refine and document internal review procedures and workflows</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of public accounting or tax experience, including review-level work</p></li><li><p>CPA license required or nearly complete</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</p></li><li><p>Strong command of U.S. GAAP, individual and business tax law</p></li><li><p>Experience reviewing the work of others, ideally including remote or offshore team members</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment</p></li></ul><p><strong>What's Offered</strong></p><ul><li><p>Competitive salary: $95,000 – $120,000, plus CPA premium where applicable</p></li><li><p>Fully remote — work from anywhere in the U.S.</p></li><li><p>Standard benefits package</p></li><li><p>A key role in a firm actively building out its long-term team structure and processes</p></li></ul><p><strong>To Apply</strong><br>This is a confidential search; the hiring firm's name and exact location will be shared with candidates who move forward in the process.</p>
