<p>We are hiring <strong>experienced Seasonal Customer Support Agents</strong> to provide support to customers using a major consumer tax software platform during peak US tax season.</p><p>This is a fully remote work-from-home opportunity for candidates physically located within the United States.</p><p>This is a short-term seasonal engagement with an immediate training start required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Contract Duration</strong></p><p>Approximately <strong>6 to 8 weeks</strong>, based on business needs, training completion, and performance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Contracting</strong></p><ul><li>Pay rate: <strong>$13 per hour</strong></li><li>Payments are issued <strong>weekly on Fridays for the previous week’s approved hours</strong></li><li>Contracts will be issued and managed via <strong>Skuad</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Training &amp; Onboarding</strong></p><ul><li>Training is mandatory prior to onboarding</li><li>Candidates must be available to <strong>begin training immediately</strong></li><li>Training must be successfully completed to move into production</li><li>Training will be <strong>paid only after successful completion and passing the required background screening</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide inbound customer support via phone and chat</li><li>Assist customers with tax software navigation and product usage</li><li>Identify issues and apply the correct support workflows</li><li>Maintain accurate case documentation and interaction notes</li><li>Deliver professional, empathetic service aligned with brand standards</li><li>Escalate cases outside Tier 1 scope following defined routing procedures</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical &amp; Work-From-Home Requirements (Mandatory)</strong></p><p>Agents must maintain a compliant home office environment, including:</p><ul><li>Windows-based computer (Apple/macOS devices are not permitted)</li><li>Minimum Intel Core i5 processor (7th Generation or higher recommended)</li><li>8 to 12 GB RAM</li><li>Minimum 250 GB of available storage</li><li>Wired internet connection (Wi-Fi-only setups are not permitted)</li><li>USB noise-canceling headset</li><li>Up-to-date antivirus or endpoint protection software</li><li>Ability to support secure browser or VPN configurations</li><li>Reliable power and internet connectivity are suitable for uninterrupted production work</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Application Support</strong></p><p>If you experience technical issues during the application process or have specific role-related questions after reviewing the full job description, you may contact our recruitment team at <strong>hrintuit@resolv.global</strong></p><p>Please include <strong>“Seasonal Tax Support”</strong> in the subject line to help us route your query efficiently.</p> <br><h3>Requirements</h3> <p><strong>Location &amp; Eligibility Requirements</strong></p><p>Applicants must:</p><ul><li>Be physically located in the United States</li><li>Be legally authorized to work in the United States</li><li>Be 18 years of age or older</li><li>Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Be willing to undergo and pass the required background screening</li></ul><p>Background screening may include identity verification, criminal history review, and sanctions screening, in accordance with program requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience (Essential)</strong></p><p>Candidates must have prior experience supporting <strong>consumer tax software such as Intuit TurboTax</strong> or assisting customers during tax filing processes.</p><p>This experience should include:</p><ul><li>Guiding customers through tax return workflows and software navigation</li><li>Assisting users in locating prior-year returns, amendments, and account information</li><li>Troubleshooting basic product or technical “how-to” issues using knowledge bases or scripts</li><li>Supporting customers via inbound phone and chat channels</li><li>Escalating complex tax or technical issues appropriately</li><li>Handling sensitive financial or personal data in secure environments</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Fluent or native-level English communication skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal customer support capability</li><li>Ability to work multiple shift schedules, including evenings and weekends</li><li>Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven remote support environment</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes</li></ul>
