<p>Overview<br />SCCD Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and charismatic Level 5 DET Lecturer to join our academic team. We are looking for a professional who doesn't just "teach" but mentors and inspires the next generation of educators.</p><p>As a "High Consequence" training provider, we specialize in social mobility and career transformation. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality sessions, preparing engaging lesson materials, and providing rigorous assessment for our Level 5 cohorts.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Delivery: Facilitate 3-hour learning slots via Zoom, ensuring high levels of student engagement and participation.</li><li>Planning: Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and resources aligned with Pearson/NCFE standards.</li><li>Assessment: Grade assignments and provide constructive, detailed feedback to ensure learners meet the criteria for QTLS eligibility.</li><li>Retention: Foster excellent student relations to maintain our high standards of learner retention and satisfaction.</li><li>Administration: Use our CRM system to upload learner data, track progress, and maintain accurate attendance records.</li></ul><p></p> <ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience delivering the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET).</li><li>Professional Status: Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills).</li><li>Flexibility: Ability to deliver across a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and Saturday sessions (3-hour blocks).</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Strong ICT skills with the ability to manage virtual classrooms on Zoom and navigate CRM platforms.</li><li>Track Record: Evidence of maintaining high student retention rates and positive learner outcomes.</li><li>Availability: Must be available to deliver 3 hr sessions on Saturday</li></ul><p>Preferrerences</p><ul><li>Recognised Assessor (CAVA/A1) and Verifier (IQA/V1) qualifications.</li><li>Experience working with international students or professionals seeking the sponsorship route.</li></ul> <ul><li>A competitive rate of £35.00 per hour.</li><li>The opportunity to work with a mission-driven provider focused on social mobility.</li><li>A flexible, remote working environment.</li></ul>
