The Loan Officer will be responsible for discussing the client's needs, recommending the best loan products, helping customers put together a complete loan package and working with the underwriting team throughout the loan process. </p><p> </p><h3><strong>Loan Officer responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Meet with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right loan products to help meet their goals. </li><li>Provide education and support to borrowers throughout the application, closing and post-closing.</li><li>Maintain an active knowledge base of all the organization’s available loan products and an understanding of the qualifications required of each applicant</li><li>Identify and recommend products that meets the customer’s needs and the organization’s lending guidelines</li><li>Review active loan files each day to determine if any documents are missing or what can be done to accelerate the process.</li><li>Maintain relevant professional licensing.</li></ul><p><strong>Loan Officer Requirements</strong></p><ul class="decimal_type"><li>Active NMLS license preferred</li><li>Ability to organize and deliver Home Buyer Workshop presentations</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Teamwork and client service skills</li><li>Self-motivated and highly organized</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.</li><li>Math skills</li><li>Computer skills</li></ul><ul><li>Compensation: base $16.90 hourly with targeted earnings from $160K- $300K </li></ul></div></div></div></div>
