This role involves managing and analyzing costs for data center construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.</p><p>Candidates for this role must be physically based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Remote work is permitted only from within the United States; candidates located outside the U.S. cannot be considered for remote employment.<br> <br> <br> <strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and services.</li><li>Perform comprehensive cost analysis and forecasting to ensure projects stay within budget.</li><li>Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.</li><li>Prepare and present detailed cost reports and progress updates to project managers and stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and contract management to ensure cost control and planning advice.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in project design and execution.</li><li>Engage and manage third-party quantity surveyors and validate construction cost estimates.</li><li>Update and maintain a repository for historical cost data to inform future projects.</li><li>Define and track cost performance metrics, leading monthly cost reporting and analysis.SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg spl-wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><p> </p><ul><li>Minimum of 4 years’ experience in cost engineering, with a focus on data center construction.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
