font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Identifying resources that require updating </li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Connecting with the appropriate contact person for each resource </li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Requesting relevant and up-to-date information by telephone &/or electronically </li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Abstracting information from relevant print and electronic sources </li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Creating and updating resource records in the database through data entry </li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Making new and updated information available to United Way BC 211 staff </li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Assist with the production of all publications at United Way BC 211, which includes the Directory of Services for the British Columbia, by preparing, copy editing, and proofreading</li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Participate in the development and implementation of an indexing system for human services</li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Remain informed about community services in Metro Vancouver and throughout British Columbia</li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Represent United Way BC on committees, meetings, or promotional undertakings as assigned</li><li style="font-size: 14px; font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;">Requirement to attain and maintain AIRS Resource Specialist– Database Curator certification. </li></ul><p><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px; font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;">Data entry experience, keyboarding 45 words per minute. </li><li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 14px; font-family: tahoma, sans-serif;">Publishing and proofreading experience an asset.</li><li style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
