<p><span>Upstart AEC is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to join a dedicated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) team supporting engineering projects.</span></p><div><p><span>This is a hands-on production engineering role within a consistent, dedicated MEP team that works across projects. The successful candidate will be teamed with existing senior staff, including a client-facing senior engineer who works directly with the MEP team on production calculations and related technical work.</span></p></div><div><p><span>This position is best suited for someone who works in Revit and Bluebeam day to day and is comfortable operating within a matrix structure, where engineers are assigned to projects based on their skills.</span></p></div><div><p><span>The ideal candidate collaborates effectively with teams and integrates smoothly into established design and production workflows.</span></p></div><div><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Work as part of a dedicated MEP team that supports projects on an ongoing basis</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Partner with an existing client-facing senior engineer on production calculations and related mechanical engineering work</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Produce mechanical engineering deliverables in Revit</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with assigned internal staff across projects under a matrix assignment model</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Support mechanical scope on projects located in California, including work subject to Title 24 energy compliance requirements</span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span><strong>Required Skills</strong></span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Proficiency in Revit</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Proficiency in Bluebeam</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team</span></p></li></ul></div><div><p><span><strong>Nice-to-Have Skills</strong></span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience with AutoCAD</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Familiarity with Energy Pro or similar energy modeling software</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience with Title 24 compliance on California projects</span></p></li></ul></div>
