Vanguard Renewables is a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a part of BlackRock.</p><p><br/></p><p>The Organics Market Manager (based in the Phoenix, AZ area) is responsible for the acquisition of new feedstock streams in a specific geography as assigned. You will establish yourself and Vanguard Renewables as a leader in food waste and organics recovery in the region. Developing a deep understanding of the market landscape will support success in this role. Prospecting, developing, growing and cultivating sales relationships is essential, but ultimately <em>closing</em> sales deals will be the benchmark for success.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for acquiring assigned tons per day of organic feedstock for the anerobic digesters in the determined territory</li><li>Understand the partnership development process, enterprise sales process and complex sales.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholder teams and develop strong relationships internally is a must.</li><li>Source, prospect, develop and close organic feedstock clients.</li><li>Sell to a variety of stakeholders at prospective client businesses, including C-Suite.</li><li>Perform sales prospecting activities, including daily logging of activities and opportunities onto the Salesforce CRM platform.</li><li>Perform outbound calls to schedule appointments, build relationships and close sales deals.</li><li>Engage in consultative selling techniques to uncover client needs.</li><li>Develop proposals to meet client needs.</li><li>Attend tradeshows and applicable industry networking events</li><li>Work with client to shepherd proposals to close.</li><li>Communicate internally with the Logistics, Operations, Sales, and Accounting Teams to ensure streamlined client onboarding process.</li><li>Utilize/understand pricing tools to work with the changing service needs of partners/prospects.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree</li><li>3+ years of experience in outside sales</li><li>Proven ability to develop client relationships and close complex sales</li><li>Proven success at B2B selling it at a high level</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Outstanding administrative diligence</li><li>Extremely detail-oriented and organized</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite</li><li>Salesforce CRM platform or similar CRM platform experience preferred</li><li>Entrepreneurial work style with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of Salesforce CRM is beneficial</li><li>Strong knowledge in the waste and hauling industry</li><li>Ability to travel 40% or more</li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive health insurance benefits, including HSA option, with substantial employer premium contributions.</li><li>Competitive, employer-sponsored (100% paid) dental, vision, and wellness benefits.</li><li>Basic employer-paid life and disability insurance, with optional supplemental life and AD&D coverage.</li><li>401(k) retirement program with employer match and immediate eligibility.</li><li>Pre-tax Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to support healthcare and dependent care expenses.</li><li>Education and adoption assistance programs to support personal and family goals.</li><li>Discretionary performance-based bonus opportunity in addition to competitive base salary.</li><li>Robust paid time off supporting flexibility and work-life balance.</li><li>Monthly cell phone and business expense reimbursement.</li></ul><p><em>Vanguard Renewables is an equal opportunity employer.
