This position will support services to ensure DGHT can rigorously conduct and cover the science-related functions for the division and for CDC’s PEPFAR program in the efficient and effective implementation and continuity of lifesaving HIV services; reviewing project plans or protocols, manuscripts, and abstracts for the validity of epidemiological methods; ensuring PEPFAR and global TB programs compliance with CDC data management, access, and transparency policy; and coordinating the review and approval of all programs scientific clearances.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>NOTE: Position Contingent upon award of contract.</strong> This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract. </p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Maintain the shared clearance functional mailbox and process incoming submissions/intake for all clearance actions (systems may include CDC eClearance, DGHT project portal, P2/P3 systems).</li><li>Coordinate reviewer submission and final approval actions within e-Review systems.</li><li>Manage e-Review system users and triage inquiries to appropriate mailboxes/points of contact.</li><li>Support management of scientific funding restrictions, releases, and publication fee request reviews; coordinate with funding teams (FARS, GMM) and branches/countries on funding restriction actions and new NOFO reviews.</li><li>Support updating/maintenance of Science SharePoint and Microsoft Teams channels.</li><li>Assist with meeting and visitor planning, time and attendance, travel, and property management administrative duties.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, research administration, or a closely related field. </li><li>Minimum of 4 years' experience performing comparable clearance/administrative support duties.</li><li>Demonstrated superior multi-tasking and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.</li><li>Experience collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders and external partners.</li><li>Experience writing, reviewing, and editing internal and external program communications.</li><li>Experience supporting scientific ethics activities; demonstrated knowledge of Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes and eClearance systems.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Microsoft Teams, and Zoom meeting management.</li><li>Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must be eligible to pass a NACI investigation and fingerprinting for CDC facility/system access; no PII/PHI will be encountered in this role. </li><li>This position requires a Full-time, 40-hour work week, excluding federal holidays and weekends; Telework-eligible</li><li>Experience working with/in the CDC</li><li>Must be a U.S. citizen</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information</strong></p><p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
