<p><strong>Position:</strong> Investment Analyst <br><strong>Team: </strong>Industrials Long/Short Equity<br><strong><br>Firm Overview:</strong></p> <p>Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview: </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join an Industrials team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience at a hedge fund focused on investing in Industrials with a strong academic background and a proven track record of excellence.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and analysis.</p> <p>- Develop and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses.</p> <p>- Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors impacting the sector.</p> <p>- Support portfolio manager in portfolio construction and risk management.</p> <p>- Participate in meetings with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.</p> <p>- Continuously update and improve investment theses based on new information and market developments.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>- 3-5 years of relevant experience on the buyside, focused on industrial or consumer public equities.</p> <p>- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation techniques.</p> <p>- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p> <p>- High level of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.</p> <p>- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.</p>
